Platt Fields Park is a large (170 acres / 70 hectares ) public park in the City of Manchester, England. Located between Wilmslow Road, Platt Lane, Yew Tree Road and Wilbraham Road it is in Fallowfield and adjoins Moss Side and Rusholme, and serves the communities of Central to South Manchester as their largest green space. Each year it also hosts major events that bring together people from the whole region for festivals, sports and music.
